Coverart UI customization - manolomalele - 04-08-2021

First of all, I want to thank @Tim Curtis  and his team for the great job you've done making an exceptional player. 

My idea is to have, nowadays with big lcd displays, the chance to slightly customize the appeareance of the UI.
Nothing radical I mean.
I'm using the standard coverart view and it is wonderful. 

I simply would like to: move the coverart picture to the left (or the right) and have Tracktitle, Artist, album and frequency/codec/bitrate plus progressbar on the opposite side.
This is only a suggestion, not a request! Smile

I'd also like to see some tweaks to the Coverart screen. It's pretty easy to find high quality cover art these days, so it's a shame to have it shown in a relatively small box.

After several months I see there are no updates.

Meanwhile I've tryed different oss but i'm always coming back to moode.

New hardware, new project, same question:

It could be possible, one day, to have a little bit more of flexibility on the local UI managment?
just an options for widescreen that makes the appearence a little more readable?

it looks nice, but the font size is too small abd the general layout could be improved a little just moving the coverart on a side (left or right, doesn't matter), and putting in a better position the track infos (ARTIST - TRACKTITLE / ALBUM / FILETYPE-BITRATE)

If it cannot be done in the main code, could it be added as a plugin or something like that?

I really don't know how many requests you've got about that feature but I really want to say thanks to @Tim Curtis and the team for doing that.
I've installed the new version and is way better with wide-screen.
The only suggestion I can give is to work a little bit on the overall appearance because the album art is not perfectly centered and so the track name / title.
If that can help I will post a screenshot so to show how that looks.

It's been requested often but there always seemed to be a higher priority TODO list item to be worked on.

There is a slight change to wide mode in upcoming 821. For this update the metadata text wraps instead of being ellipsis limited.

Here are screen shots with and w/o the Playbar showing.

I'm sure you'll improve it and that's gonna be perfect. 
Do you think it could be possible to add also a string with filetype - bitrate - frequency?
