Hello,
I am new in the Raspberry Pi activity but I installed succesfully Moode 4.1 and later upgraded to 4.2. I did it na RPI 3b+ but it works also on RPI Zero on the same memory card. It is very good player for my needs.
My problem is that I cannot find any script for LCD HD44780 (16x2 or 20x4) to display the basic information from MPD. I looked this forum (as well as other) to find solution but I haven't found. Pydpiper seemed to me ok but I found opinion that nobody have ran it succesfully. It's also a little complicated for me.
Can you therefore advice me any solution, please? Ready to use script would be the best but I am aware there is no such one so I am ready to customize other software. My Python is still not good but it would be good challenge to me to do it.

I have read this thread few times before.
The problem is that as I read somewhere LCD 16x2 HD44780 is not fully compatible with OLED 16x2 HD44780. Do you agree?
On PydPiper I wrote above.
