No update library from GUI, but works fine form command line. - Woodroww - 07-09-2021 Hi all, When I press update library from the GUI nothing happens (7.30). But 'mpc update' from the command line works fine, including a spinner in the GUI. I tried 2 things to get it working from the GUI. Cleared the browser cache and installed MoOde afresh. No dice. Had the same thing in earlier versions, so it's a pretty persistent little problem. Anything else I could do, to get it working from the GUI? Regards, Woody. RE: No update library from GUI, but works fine form command line. - Tim Curtis - 07-09-2021 The "Update library" operation is recorded in the Moode log. Couple things to try. - Check Browser console for errors - Examine log via moodeutl -l - Make sure running 32-bit kernel (System Config) RE: No update library from GUI, but works fine form command line. - Wheel_nut - 07-09-2021 It works for me. Clicking M; Update Library give me a grey "Updating Library" Box in the middle of the screen and a spinner at the Top RHS beside the M button. In your Album listing, are you seeing the Album Cover Art? RE: No update library from GUI, but works fine form command line. - Woodroww - 07-10-2021 Tim, Thanks for your pointers. I always use the 32-bit kernel. I looked at the browser console, but saw nothing obvious. I have several backups, so I booted up a back-up of 7.3.0. where I knew the update via the GUI worked. This worked now too, so I guess that means the browser is not the issue. I will upload a log from a "working" version and one from a "problem version later. Wheel_nut, Everything is fine, except sometimes it stops being so... |
