Detecting play - malcolmwa - 07-19-2021

I just got an old bakelite RCA Victor AM radio that I want to use as an enclosure for my Pi4/Amp2 Moode setup.  I would like to have an led activated when the system is playing music, i.e., taken off pause (I keep my system powered all the time).  I guess I need GPIO pins and script that sense if play is clicked, pins are powered.  Thanks in advance!

To answer my own question, pin 40 goes from 0 to about 1.26 volts when Play is clicked.

Just FYI for anyone else wondering.
