Multiple players / Hostname questions - Chip Sprague - 10-04-2021
Happy to go read a wiki or something if this is all laid out.
If I change the host name what all changes? Lets say I change it to "PlayerB". Will "playerb.local" work in the browser? Can I send spotify to "PlayerB" on the LAN? E.g. Does it effectively change everything I interact with that said "moode" to "PlayerB"? Anything to be aware of before doing that?

Prolly should tag this as a Question rather than a Problem.
Hostname is not case sensitive so if you change it to "PlayerB" in System Config both http://PlayerB.local and http://playerb.local will work.
The renderer names that you specify in Audio Config AFAIK are case sensitive.
