Squeezelite + Airplay : Can't work simultaniously? - S_i_O - 12-24-2021
Hi all.
I just switched from piCorePlayer to MoOde and running into an issue and hope you can help me figure it out cause I love MoOde so far!
I have enabled both of the following:
- Squeezlite Renderer (used with LMS)
- Airplay Renderer (for MacBook)
It seems that I can't get both to work at the same time... If both are enabled.
Squeezelite rendering works fine but Airplay won't make a sound even if connected.
If I disable Squeezelite rendering, Airplay starts working... I did not have this issue with piCorePlayer with same hardware (see below)...
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Hardware:
RPi Zero W with Hifi-Berry DAC+

When Squeezelite starts it hogs the audio output by default. I think there is a timeout parameter (-C) that can be added to the Other options field in Squeezelite Config. See this link https://ralph-irving.github.io/squeezelite.html
