MPD startup volume resetting to zero - Stooovie - 02-24-2022 Hi, how can I set startup volume of MPD to 100? I know I can do it for Spotify but I don't see an option for MPD. I use web radio stations mainly and I need to manually set volume each time Moode is restarted as it is set to zero. Thanks. RE: MPD startup volume resetting to zero - Tim Curtis - 02-24-2022 During startup MPD volume is restored to the knob value, There will be some records near the end of the moOde startup log that show this. Example. Code: 20220224 121450 worker: MPD volume level (20) restored The command below prints the log. Its also at the end of System info. Code: moodeutl -l RE: MPD startup volume resetting to zero - Stooovie - 02-24-2022 What knob? It's a pure RPi2 via headphone jack, there's no knob AFAIK. There's this, setting to 0: 20220224 174537 worker: MPD volume level (0) restored 20220224 174537 worker: ALSA Headphone volume (0%) RE: MPD startup volume resetting to zero - Tim Curtis - 02-24-2022 The volume knob on the UI. RE: MPD startup volume resetting to zero - Stooovie - 02-24-2022 Ah, thank you! That makes sense, problem solved. |
