Spotify Connect - Skipping - TommyVercetti - 08-04-2022 Hi everyone, Have been using moOde sucessfully for over a year before last week when Spotify connect decided to start acting up. Essentially as soon as I select moOde in the devices section via the Spotify App I get no sound and it starts skipping through songs indefinitely. Have reformatted SD card and downloaded latest version (8.1.2) as well as logged out of all devices and reinstalled spotify to no avail. Have also tried connecting with a different Spotify premium account which presented same symptioms. Airplay and radio etc all work perfectly as before. Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is the feature I use(d) most ! This thread has additional information and some proposed workarounds. https://moodeaudio.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=4973 Some users have had success with the workarounds that add a line to the file /etc/hosts. The other workaround involving adding a parameter to the librespot launch command is part of upcoming moOde 8.2.0 release (Q3). The librespot team has also released a point fix in 0.4.2 release https://github.com/librespot-org/librespot/releases/tag/v0.4.2. Our project will be making an installable package for this as we get closer to our upcoming 8.2.0 releaser. Long term fix involves librespot team migrating to a new API in their future 0.5.x series :-) |
