pi@moode:~ $ Also one of the folder in my Connected hard drive is not getting updated fully to Library. Tried to regenerate the library, update library many tmes.Still not getting updated fully RE: [split] moOde 8.1.2 slow response (Allo USBridge Sig) - Tim Curtis - 08-07-2022 I don't see anything in the log that would affect response times from clients except perhaps the DNS address. Typically a residential router will assign clients a DNS address which is same as the gateway (LAN) address which in your case would be 192.168.1.1. This is because these routers proxy DNS queries. If DNS resolving is slow then everything between client and server will be slow or will timeout/hang. Code: 20220709 013049 worker: Pri DNS (8.8.8.8) The first NAS mount below that errors out is odd. I'm not sure what might be causing that. Code: 20220709 013100 sourceMount(): Mount error: (mount error(113): could not connect to 192.168.1.39Unable to find suitable address.) RE: [split] moOde 8.1.2 slow response (Allo USBridge Sig) - TheOldPresbyope - 08-07-2022 True, many residential AP/router/cable modems provide local DNS service but not all. My Comcast-provided ARRIS hardware does not, for example. Code: 20220807 102207 worker: IP addr (10.0.0.5) Practically, all this means is I have to use either IP (e.g., 10.0.0.5) or mDNS (e.g., moode.local) to reference a local host. The responsiveness of all hosts on the LAN is great. IP and mDNS references work fine in moOde's Music Source Config. Here's one of my NAS shares mounted in my moOde player by its mDNS name Code: //OMV-HC1.local/MUSIC on /mnt/NAS/OMV-Music type cifs (ro,relatime,vers=3.1.1,cache=strict,username=Guest,uid=0,noforceuid,gid=0,noforcegid,addr=10.0.0.2,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,iocharset=utf8,soft,nounix,serverino,mapposix,rsize=61440,wsize=65536,bsize=1048576,echo_interval=60,actimeo=1) but here's another share from the same server which I've mounted using its IP address Code: //10.0.0.2/Test on /mnt/NAS/OMV-Test type cifs (ro,relatime,vers=3.1.1,cache=strict,username=xxxxx,uid=0,noforceuid,gid=0,noforcegid,addr=10.0.0.2,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,iocharset=utf8,soft,nounix,serverino,mapposix,rsize=61440,wsize=65536,bsize=1048576,echo_interval=60,actimeo=1) Which brings us to the OPs mount error 113. This code means that Linux timed out trying failed to resolve the IP address 192.168.1.39 at that moment. Assuming this is a correct IP address, it would seem there's some instability in the OPs LAN. Regards, Kent PS - recent releases of Android now provide first-class support for mDNS including in the browser search bar, yay! PPS - I need to get around to setting up a separate subnet with Pi-Hole running to provide local DNS and other goodness. Mañana. RE: [split] moOde 8.1.2 slow response (Allo USBridge Sig) - praveen.sg8 - 08-15-2022 (08-07-2022, 03:36 PM)But still the problem of loading pages of Moode on android device as well as windows is very slow.Cant understand the issue.I tried with another person who is using the moode on USB Bridge signature and he also finds the same issue.Kindly work out a solution for the same TheOldPresbyope Wrote: True, many residential AP/router/cable modems provide local DNS service but not all. RE: [split] moOde 8.1.2 slow response (Allo USBridge Sig) - Tim Curtis - 08-15-2022 The symptom "slow page loading" suggests something external to Moode software for example network issues, hardware issues, bad SD Card, corrupt or huge Browser cache etc. I have a SIG and no issues whatsoever using any Browser, Ethernet or WiFi. The challenge in your particular case is to try to isolate the problem. Typically this is done by a process of swapping components one at a time until one of the swaps resolves the issue. You might want to start by swapping to a standard Pi with a new SD Card, stock moOde image and known good power supply. Don't connect any USB drives or NAS mounts. if the issue still occurs then most likely its a network issue. If the standard Pi works well then add the music sources one at a time and re-test. RE: [split] moOde 8.1.2 slow response (Allo USBridge Sig) - praveen.sg8 - 08-17-2022 Iam facing issue on full music folder files not getting updated on Moode USB drive library. Kindly inform how to get it updated fully RE: [split] moOde 8.1.2 slow response (Allo USBridge Sig) - Nutul - 08-17-2022 (08-17-2022, 02:31 PM)praveen.sg8 Wrote: Iam facing issue on full music folder files not getting updated on Moode USB drive library. Hi, same for you, in these situations is helpful if we can get more information about your system: so please reboot your system and post here the startup log, which you can get with the command Code: moodeutl -l Also, I remember to have seen a similar issue: no external drive being detected at all; it was strange, maybe you can see this post of mine: https://moodeaudio.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=4902 |
