Greetings,
Been a while, with the last release you introduced the option to remove limit on the Recently Added filter which is great for me as I do tend to hover around the most recent releases in my library.
I have a suggestion for an additional option in the UI preferences to make Recently Added the default sort order when entering the Album and Tag views. This would save having to hit [Library] > [Recently Added] every time one exits the Configuration pages and every time one enters the Album or Tab views.

You mean making that selection persistent rather than default?
I'll add to the TODO list to investigate :-)

Yes poorly worded I guess, the key bit being a new UI option to change the behaviour.
Currently it'll stay on Recently Added until the tag cache/page is refreshed or going into and exiting the configuration page.
