[split] Sort albums by year - Jason1973 - 03-19-2023
Sorry to necro a thread,
I'm using latest version of MoOde, and I cannot get the albums to list in chronological order in Library/Tags view.
/var/www/inc/playerlib.php has moved and I don't want to dig around to much in case I break somthing.
Did this feature get added? or can someone point me to /var/www/inc/playerlib.php.
Everything else is just Perfect for my needs.

Menu, Preferences, Library section, Tagview sort order, "by year"
The help for the option
by Album: Albums are sorted alphabetically.
by Album/Year: Albums are sorted alphabetically in the full list. When an Artist is clicked albums for the artist are sorted chronologically
by Artist: Albums for each artist are sorted alphabetically.
by Artist/Year: Albums for each artist are sorted chronologically.
by Year: Albums are sorted chronologically.
Note that when sorted by year if not all tracks in the album have the same year then the latest year will be used. If no year tag exists or if the year tag is not a number then no year information will be shown for that album.

Yeah I went through all the options, "i" marks very helpfull, thankyou for those, and did some googling before reaching out.
Must be somthing intearfearing at my end.
Would go for Album view if I could list by Genre.

For the "by Year" sort to be useful the tracks have to have the "date" tag populated with a 4 digit year.
