DTS multichannel volume too low - sdmovie - 10-26-2018

enviroment: Raspberry 3B, Moode 4.3 update to 10/19

DTS wave file (multichannel) can be played -that's nice - however the volume is much lower than other audio files (Stereo), say 6db lower. Tried convert to flac(still multichannel) , volume the same.

Using Foobar on PC and foo_input_DTS plugin, te same file is played and vlume is normal.

looks like the multichannel decoding and rendering to 2 channel is not keeing volume consistency?

I've never tested a DTS file but the symptom "volume is much lower" suggests a bug in whatever codec is being used to decode the file. You might want to try turning on MPD verbose logging and see if it lists the particular codec in the log. Then try a google search for that codec to see if anyone has posted volume issues.

thanks, should be MPD side issue. Will check with MPD .
