Power Supply Raspberry pi3 - moodeuserhorsham - 02-27-2024 Not strictly a moode issue however other than spending 4x the cost of the Pi itself does anyone have a power supply recommendation. I am trying iUniker Power Supply I have always used the official power supply but found the connected dac was not getting enough power, probably because I have a dac hat fitted. In use I never have the volume above a quarter so I probably do not not have a problem but out of interest I have noticed the background noise at full volume is slightly higher using the uniker which lead me to asking the question above. Or maybe use a Pi 4 instead? So yes I know just enjoy the music. thank you in advance RE: Power Supply Raspberry pi3 - Tim Curtis - 02-27-2024 Have you tried the official 5V 3A supply, the one for the Pi-4? I use that for all my Pi's and no issues whatsoever. RE: Power Supply Raspberry pi3 - moodeuserhorsham - 02-27-2024 No do you use a C to micro adapter? RE: Power Supply Raspberry pi3 - Tim Curtis - 02-27-2024 Yes, I use a C to Micro adapter. RE: Power Supply Raspberry pi3 - moodeuserhorsham - 03-02-2024 Quiet now however the official does not have as much juice as the Uniker but it is quiet thank you. |
