Tidal/Spotify compatible search string or search site - zamiere - 03-20-2024 If I click on bottom bar in web browser the view changing and when I click on stream title it's open the search site selected in Preferences with a query that contains artist and song title concatenated with space between. Please separate with a dash ( - ) the artist and song title to make usable the search string in Spotify or Tidal search input. Or make available to select Tidal or Spotify as search site in Preferences please. RE: Tidal/Spotify compatible search string or search site - Tim Curtis - 03-20-2024 I did a quick test with the example strings below, one with a dash and one without and I get the same search results from Google which suggests there is no need to use a dash. "Miles Davis Blue In Green" "Miles Davis - Blue In Green" What is the base search URL for Spotify? RE: Tidal/Spotify compatible search string or search site - the_bertrum - 03-20-2024 Code: https://open.spotify.com/search/Miles%20Davis%20Blue%20In%20Green Code: https://open.spotify.com/search/Miles%20Davis%20-%20Blue%20In%20Green Can't try Tidal. don't have an account. I just tried the same searches on Spotify and see what you mean by "marginally different." Under Songs, the second search returns an additional track (a less than 2 minute "Blue in Green - Studio Sequence" which didn't make the final release). Under Artists, it appears to return a slightly different collection of images/links. The question is, which is more correct? No idea. Both searches return reasonable results. Regards, Kent |
