Setting: RPiOS: 11.9 Bullseye 64-bit | Linux: 6.1.21 64-bit Model: Pi-3B 1GB Audio: Pi Headphone jack Release 8.3.9 2024-02-23 Someone have the same issues, or can give me some tips for getting the wheel back to a smoothe slinding up and down? thx RE: Volume Wheel in Web UI - Mobile Version - the_bertrum - 04-13-2024 I don't have such issues on my mobile UI. Try clearing your browser cache, maybe restarting the phone as well. If it is still behaving badly after that let us know what browser and phone you are using. ETA. I realise you said it was an iPhone, so I assume that's the Safari browser too. RE: Volume Wheel in Web UI - Mobile Version - funkster - 04-14-2024 @traillight Just checked with my iPhone (running the latest iOS) and there’s no such glitch for me. I agree with @the_bertrum, try to empty your Safari cache and restart your iPhone. Usually Menu, refresh fixes it or switching from portrait to landscape and back. It could be related to the PWA mechanism on IOS. Does it happen when using moode directly in the Safari (not as a Home Screen app)? The css might not be right for your screen size or it could be stale browser cache as others suggested. I’m not sure there’s a difference between euro iOS and the rest of us with pwa though if they allow non-WebKit pwa then there soon may be (fun!) Iirc lagginess (or not) for the volume was related to the speed the server was able to keep up with the rate of changes being sent, so maybe your micro sd is going bad or it’s being throttled for some reason? I don’t use software volume but tried it and it seemed ok. I don’t remember what past versions were like to compare versus the most recent. RE: Volume Wheel in Web UI - Mobile Version - traillight - 04-15-2024 hi, i will check when at home next time. i use iphoneXs with latest ios it happens when i start it in safari by creating a new browser window dont even know what a homescreen app is ? i have no special settings i will uploag a pic soon as possible thx all RE: Volume Wheel in Web UI - Mobile Version - Tim Curtis - 04-15-2024 (04-15-2024, 08:19 AM)traillight Wrote: hi, i will check when at home next time. Open moode in Safari At the bottom of the screen tap the "box-with-the-up-arrow" icon Scroll down a bit Tap "Add to Home Screen" Tap "Add" This will create an app icon for moode on your Home Screen. RE: Volume Wheel in Web UI - Mobile Version - TheOldPresbyope - 04-15-2024 I have observed this off-centeredness of the contents of the roundels occasionally and seemingly randomly when opening the moOde WebUI in a browser on a mobile device. It has always cleared with a simple “refresh” from the moOde (m) menu. I haven’t kept notes on which browser, which mobile device (I use mostly Firefox but also Chrome and Safari on an iPad Mini and a Google Pixel 6a phone). Just now, using Safari on the iPad, I added a moOde player to the Home Sceen of the iPad. First time I opened it, the off-centeredness occurred. Cleared it; closed the app; reopened it; all good. Did some checking with switching back and forth between portrait and landscape, with app open between and also with it closed. The off-centeredness happened at least once more but I lost track of the sequence off events. All in all, this has been too elusive an issue for me to nail down. Regards, Kent |
