Rpi allo boss dac no sound via Bluetooth - Griff - 04-24-2024
Hi all,
iPhone 13pro to RPi with Allo Boss DAC. To Denon Amp.
Can’t figure this out. Trying to play audio via Bluetooth. I can connect to it and Apple Music says it’s playing to Moode Bluetooth but no sound.
Bluetooth renderer is on
Pairing agent is on.
If I switch back to Airplay it plays fine.
Any help appreciated.

Many times a BT-with-no-sound is just the source device's (your iPhone) volume too low.

What version of moode and what is the ALSA output setting in Bluetooth Control?

Ok so this might leave a clue to the issue.
Volume on iPhone is not available in I Apple
Music app but is (with no effect if I play another source like TuneIn .
Latest version of Moode.
ALSA is set to default. The only option available.

Menu, Bluetooth
Set "ALSA output mode" to "Compatibility" and see if that resolves the issue.

a UI issue. If I scroll the pop-up selector I see it! That worked. THANK YOU!
