A new ProtoDAC in Belgium - guussie - 05-04-2024
I am tinkering with the ProtoDAC and my first impressions are really good.
The first version was with the KIT ordered from eBay. It's running with a cheap super capacitor power supply HAT from Aliexpress.
Now I am building two more to test different components. I have replaced the expensive IV resistors with cheap metal film resistors and this still gives a very good sound. The expensive ones are on order....
I am also planning to implement some of the suggestions made by Gabster: uFL cables, clock upgrade, shielding, separate PSUs.
Looking forward to exchange experiences.
