Hello from the UK - JohnWalker - 05-17-2024 Music, audio and computers have been a big part of my life since I was 12 - got my first album in 1968, *built* my first hifi in 1973, wrote my first computer program in 1978 (in Algol). I've been using Linux for audio since 2008, and currently have an IanCanada DAC with add-on clocks and the supercap power supplies. I still buy vinyl, and I'm experimenting with various DSD formats because PCM can leave me cold - sometimes, not always. I use a PS3 to rip SACDs but also purchase raw DSD files from NativeDSD.com. My professional background is sonar, but I'm now retired. RE: Hello from the UK - Tim Curtis - 05-17-2024 Welcome to our DIY audio space. Try a ProtoDAC kit. it will warm up your PCM files.
