After update from 8.3.9 to 9.0.0 my LCD not working - Jedrek - 05-21-2024
After updating to version 9.0.0 from version 8.3.9, my 7-inch display stopped working. Only touch works, but I am informed that there is no input signal at the HDMI input of this display.
I was found a solution:
Please change the option:
System -> Startup option -> Integrated audio
to Firmware Mode (Legacy)

thanks for this ,In my case the pi 7" touchscreen (pi4) would display but would not invert 180 deg.
changing to firmware mode legacy allows for the correct orientation
