Speed up Local GUI - STUDI - 06-06-2024 I observed a slight improvement in the speed of the local GUI after adding the following flags for the Chhrome Browser startup: --enable-gpu-rasterization --ignore-gpu-blocklist --disable-smooth-scrolling An additional noticeable benefit is a significant reduction in CPU load (88 -> 95). The trade-off is a decrease in the amount of free memory (480MB -> 260M). Tested on Raspberry Pi 4 B, 2GB RAM, Moodeaudio 9.0.1, audio: USB DAC Topping D10. Unfortunately, the Raspberry Pi 5 version is ruled out due to the case design (M2.SATA interface, all ports on one rear panel, which is a desirable but practically absent feature in cases -> Geekworm NASPi V2.0 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD Kit with Auto Power On Function). |
