Artwork thumbnail 404 - ajaykay - 06-14-2024
This was happening on v8, but now I have a fresh v9.02 install but it hasn't changed.
It seems that on .mp3 tracks with comments in the tags, I get no album artwork, embedded or otherwise.
When I right click on the 'failed to load' graphic, and open in a new tab it comes up with a 404 not found page.
Any idea why the comments in the tags seem to muck up the artwork?

Post one of the offending files to a suitable site, then post the link to @Tim Curtis , @TheOldPresbyope and me (@Nutul ), one of use will have alook into it.
It is possible that the weird comments, somehow, screw the scan engine and prevent it to detect and extract the image...
P.S.
What is the (apparently meaningless) loooong string in the comment tag supposed to represent...?

Zip up one of the files and PM a download link to myself, @TheOldPresbyope and @Nutul and one of us will analyze the file and see if the issue can be reproduced.

This gets stranger...
Thought I'd check the tag for comments in MusicBee (audio player I use on my Windows desktop) there are no comments...
Checked three different tracks now that Moode shows comments for, nothing in MusicBee.
Will drop you all a DM with two of the MP3s in.
Oh, and the random comments appear to be from downloaded/shared albums mostly.
