Greetings from Palatinate (Germany) - Steve - 07-03-2024

Hi all.

Since 2022 my moOde-Player is:

Raspberry Pi 3 B
(Currently without any extra I²S DAC PCB)
Waveshare 16642 11.6inch Capacitive Touch Screen IPS-LCD with Case, 1920×1080, HDMI

In a few weeks I will move forward to an upgraded configuration:

Raspberry Pi 4 B (already exists)
Waveshare 16642 11.6inch Capacitive Touch Screen (For sure I will use the existing one)
Coolermaster Pi Case 40 V2 (So I will have some kind of power button)

To be honest…
I would love to have a "real" hardware power button (I think Audiophonics PI-SPC REG will do the job!)

…and maybe a hardware volume-knob?!
M5Stack Dial Smart Rotary Knob looks interesting but it's pure plastic.
And I don't think I will be able to realize the implementation of such sophisticated device… Confused

Best regards
Michael

Hi Michael, and welcome aboard.
Wish you all the best for your implementation; you will succeed, no doubt.

If you can spring for an RPi 5, it has a power button and various inexpensive enclosures are compatible with it.
