Introduction from the USA - dasherma - 07-28-2024

Hi:

My name is Doug, I'm from the USA.

I'm just here investigating Moode. I'm a Roon user and so far have only investigated Ropieee, but I wanted to see if there where alternatives.

I was once asked "What's your favorite music?" and I replied "everything" which is still pretty much true. Well, I'm over 60, so I do have some limitations. I still don't get a lot of contemporary pop. Big Grin

I’ve got you both beat but I still enjoy the music as much as I did when I was a teenager,

Regards,
Kent

Just curious, @TheOldPresbyope and @fdealexa - are your setups entirely digital?

RE: Introduction from the USA - HarryY - 07-30-2024

I'm 60 and have always loved music.

I tried a few different programs and settled on MoOde.
For me It's stable and it works.

How are you using Moode? On your local collection or with a service such as Roon?

I'm using it with my own collection.

When I buy a CD I rip it to FLAC then put it on a NAS and stream it out to the moOde boxes.
