9.0.5 Cannot connect to Pi 4B - thomaschan - 08-02-2024
I download the 9.0.5 using Pi imager. In the configuration screen, I enter protomoode as host name, user name and password, NO click on Configure WLAN. Then I physically connect my notebook to Pi4 via RJ45 port with a ethernet cable (without any router). On Goggle Chrome browser, I enter 174.24.1.1 but I cannot connect to the Pi. No MoOde interface screen. I also try protomoode.local (protomoode is the host name), still cannot connect to Pi.
Any idea?

you need dhcp server, direct connection wont work!

A direct connection is possible but it's not a supported configuration in moode. Read the Setup Guide for information on how to access the WiFi Hotspot.
