9.1.0 Radio thumbs. - the_bertrum - 09-17-2024

Very nice to see the higher resolution on the Radio thumbs, but...
... I have modifed some of the logos for a couple of default stations, and while my new artwork shows up on the now playing page, the thumbs remain the old versions. Is there a way to force them to update again? I've tried the usual browser cache, thumb cache, database regeneration routines, and yet the original thumbs are resolute.

Try emptying the Browser cache for example in Chrome you can open the Browser console, right click on the refresh icon and select "Empty cache and hard reload"

So the _sm thumbs are being made correctly, but what gets shown in the UI is:

In the Radio feature there are three images for each station as below.

radio-logos/image.jpg               Main Playback screen and CoverView

radio-logos/thumbs/image.jpg        Radio view (was 200px now same as main image, up to 600px)

radio-logos/thumbs/image_sm.jpg     Queue (80px)

So, the first and third image are updated correctly, it is only the radio-logos/thumbs/image.jpg that does not update.

To repro, simply edit a station that already has a logo and replace the logo with a different image. The main playback, and queue images will change but not the radio view image.

Here are the logo files I use just in case there's something special about them...

Why do I change them? They look "cleaner" to my eye. I just prefer them is all.
