Volume with bluetooth renderer is too loud - mathieuruellan - 09-21-2024

Hello,

I'm facing a issue with bluetooth. With Spotify or Radio, le volume is OK.

But with bluetooth, it's really loud. The volume configured on my phone is close to minimum. At minimum, there is no sound, just above or max is the same.

Right. Bluetooth seems to have a very hot volume curve.

Have a look at the "ALSA maxvol (%)" option in Renderer Config. Start by setting it to 30.

Thank you.
I can set a limit. But then, it's impossible to change the volume with my phone. When i.decrease, there is no différence, until there is nothing.

Reboot and then post the contents of the startup log.

The log can be viewed via the SSH command moodeutl -l or downloaded via the Logs section in System Config, or via Menu, System info from any of the Config screens. The startup log will be at the end of System info output.
