can't update library - Bert_K - 09-29-2024 Dear members, After only a few days of enjoying Moode Audio on a Raspberry Pi 3B I needed to reinstall the OS. I play local music files from a ntfs USB drive. I could not update the library anyore, the pi was stuck in a message of updating the library. I could not open the settings > audio tab anymore. I reinstalled the OS with the Raspberry Pi installer with saved settings but the problems were not fixed. Now try to completely reinstall but get this message Download Corrupt, even if I choose to skip all previous settings. Now I try with Balena to install on SD. Does anybody have an idea why the filescan / library update fails and goes into a permanent stuck? RE: can't update library - steve4star - 09-29-2024 Please follow the setup guide to ensure you have configured all the necessary steps. https://moodeaudio.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=39 RE: can't update library - Bert_K - 09-29-2024 (09-29-2024, 04:42 PM)steve4star Wrote: Please follow the setup guide to ensure you have configured all the necessary steps. I do follow these steps. I cant access audio tab, I put the Hifiberry on top, before I did the setup...is this wrong? The latest downloadable version does not work with my Pi 3B, I cant access audio tab. The version which is selected by Raspberry Pi images gives a corrupt hash error. Bummers :-( RE: can't update library - Nutul - 09-29-2024 1. Try getting the image from moOde's site 2. Use the Raspberry Imager to flash it 3. Do not forget to set up username, password, and optionally (but recommended) the WiFi details moOde will connect to RE: can't update library - Bert_K - 09-29-2024 (09-29-2024, 07:42 PM)Nutul Wrote: 1. Im trying a slightly older version, totally clean setup, but still get the same error, and cant access audio, while I even have no files added!? RE: can't update library - Tim Curtis - 09-29-2024 Reboot and then post the contents of the startup log. The log can be viewed via the SSH command moodeutl -l or downloaded via the Logs section in System Config, or via Menu, System info from any of the Config screens. The startup log will be at the end of System info output. RE: can't update library - jonners - 09-30-2024 @Bert_K Have you tried using a different SD card? I tried several new SD cards, by Sandisc and Kingston. For now I proceded with piCoreplayer. |
