RPi 3 B issue with latest software - rallychief - 10-15-2024
Hi everybody, have just dug out my RPi 3B with Hi Fi Berry Digi pro hat been sat in a drawer for 4 years, for a project, have updated to latest software, it boots, but cannot configure it, clicking on audio configure, system configure etc don't bring up the configure menus, they appear to accept click, but don't do anything, what am i missing, will the 3B run latest software

This is not a Pi3B issue. You didn't set up the default username/password before booting the image. See the setup guide.

Apologies for late reply, been a bit poorly last few days, only managed to get to it this evening, re imaged the sd card with missing username/password details, i now have a fully functioning rpi, many thanks Kent for your excellent help.

Glad to hear it is functional now. Note that there appears to be a recently discovered problem with moOde's WiFi Access Point feature when running on a Pi 3B which hasn't been resolved yet. Other than that, your Pi 3B installation should be good to go.
Hope you're no longer feeling a bit poorly (a favorite expression of my grandmother!).
