From fresh install 9.1.4 I get the error "The image does not contain a user id" - happymax - 11-30-2024
I have done a fresh install without problem with Raspberry Pi Imager v. 1.8.5 since version 9.1.3.
From v. 9.1.4 and 9.1.5 when I startup moode I get the error "The image does not contain a user id".
I followed the setup guide's instructions step by step for all the versions, but I've encountered this problem only from v. 9.1.4.

I don't recall having issues with Pi Imager 1.8.5 and any moode release.
What is your userid?
Maybe try bumping to Pi Imager 1.9.0

Thanks so much Tim for your quick reply.
I solved it with your tip regarding the username - the problem was the name of the user that I used: root.
Since version 9.1.3 the user name "root" didn't cause any problems.
