Osoyoo 3.5" touchscreen with Pi4B - MichaelCNX - 01-27-2025 Has anyone had any luck using the Osoyoo 3.5" Touchscreen with a Pi4B and the latest version. here is a link to the item from amazon https://a.co/d/4vJfax2 The screen works fine with Raspian OS with the driver, and Moode works fine and displays the output locally when you activate the function from Moode without the driver installed so no touchscreen and high resolution. once I install the driver the screen just shows the boot text but not the local Moode graphics inteface and still at high res. seems that it is a driver issue but I am not sure how to go about troubleshooting it or what to look for. Any help would be appreciated. I am using the latest Moode r923 RE: Osoyoo 3.5" touchscreen with Pi4B - MichaelCNX - 01-27-2025 Update, I was able to get the screen to work and now show the output when enabled. However i still cannot get the resolution to the lower 480x320 even if i edit the config.txt. I also cannot get the touch working. The touch works with Raspian. I have tried going into raspi-config and enabling SPI which apparantly the screen uses for the touch functions. so any thoughts or help on being able to adjust the resolution and get the touch working. there are several github repositories that have the driver LCD35_HDMI. this driver seems to work to get the vido output. as always any thoughts or help would be super appreciated. I was basically trying to follow this article https://homenetworkguy.com/how-to/build-raspberry-pi-touchscreen-music-player-with-bluetooth-speaker-using-moode-audio-player/ as it seemed like he had it all working. However this was also on Bullseye. in any event i have decided to just go with simple enabling the local video which is displayed just fine on the small screen. not use the drivers and not use a touch screen. this is still a really nice way to go as i can display coverview and see the status without having to look at my browser or phone etc. Appreciate the feedback. so far it is working great.
