Ian Canada transport switching outputs - Raptor1 - 03-06-2025 This is a new one and has only just started to happen. After switching my system off over night the next boot it will not play music looking into it i found the output has changed to HDMI for my Ian Canada transport digi from RCA. so i switch it to a allo digi one reboot and then back to the Ian Canada one and reboot (what a pain) and all works fin ??? Running a pi4 with Moode 9.2.5 all has been fine for over 4 week when i did the build did the update last week and as i say all worked fine so i don't know what has changed ? Hope someone can shed some light on this as i have not had a problem with Moode in all the years off running it. RE: Ian Canada transport switching outputs - dac2audio - 03-09-2025 Hello, I used also Ian Canada transportpi Digi. The settings that I applied and which works so far is 4:HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro. If this plays up again i will do the HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro. RE: Ian Canada transport switching outputs - Tim Curtis - 03-10-2025 The "Ian Canada (transport Pi)" selection loads hifiberry-digi-pro driver, same as for "HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro" selection. Was the transport pi stack powered on when moOde started? Hi Tim, yes everything is powerd bay a IC pure pi 2 with UcConditioner mk2. It been fine now for 4/5 days so i don't get it ? One thing it might be is are the battery's charged ? All the lights indicate all is ok. So thanks again Tim for the help. RE: Ian Canada transport switching outputs - Tim Curtis - 03-11-2025 Upcoming 9.2.7 release includes a configurable "Device ready wait" option. It sets a limit on the number of 5 second retries that occur when the configured audio device is not assigned an ALSA card during startup. Thanks for the info Tim that might do the trick, it's strange one as it only happens now and then ? Thanks again for all the help. Tim's fix will always work, unless the device is OFF. |
