SPDIF from PCM2704 - energyi - 01-30-2019

Anyway to tell if this board can do bit-perfect digital output? (TI PCM2704 processor http://www.ti.com/product/PCM2704) I don't know if the inexpensive board changes digital from usb to spdif.

Looking at pulling the USB connector off (blue wire), wiring it directly to a pi-zero W thus having a tiny package; digital (red wire) or headphone (green) out Moode Audio driven system. Moode 4.4 works. Should come under $10 total. Pi Zero W's are $5 each at my local Microcenter. Can't seem to go into that store without coming out with one of those.

Looks bit-perfect to me but I think that chip is max 16/48K

Yes, correct, that chip is 16/48k max, so using stations that do not exceed that level. Works on stations with higher signals, but is obviously downsampling. Thanks Tim.
