Sorry, but there isn't enough information here.

It sounds like

1. moOde booted and presented a working UI
   
2. you made some configuration changes
   
3. moOde won't reboot and present a working UI
   

From this I can only speculate you have made configuration choices which are incompatible with the hardware you have.

My suggestion is to start with a fresh image. If you want help with configuring it then you need to reveal more information about your system. For example, you mention "configuring the DAC", but you don't say what the DAC is.

One other possibility is a under powered Pi. I've had that before and it screws with booting up. Try an other PSU and see if it helps. 5v 3A is ideal.
