Bluetooth occupied by Moode?
#1
Hi all,

I'm running Moode on Raspberry Pi 3B+. I also run PiHole and Home Assistant on the same board. When I try to use the Bluetooth interface with Home Assistant I get the message "Failed setup, will retry" from Home Assistant.

Because I couldn't find a reason for this message I'm asking whether Moode occupies Bluetooth somehow and if so, how to disable this behaviour. I don't need and use Bluetooth with Moode.

That you all!

moOde ships with the Bluetooth stack thats comes with Raspberry Pi OS. If you install other applications that have their own Bluetooth stack or configuration then you are on your own as far as troubleshooting goes.

You should prolly run HA and PiHole on a separate Raspberry Pi.
Enjoy the Music!

Thank you for your quick response! Didn't see it.

Solved!

Sorry, I moved my Home Assistant configuration from another device and now the MAC address has changed. After removing the Bluetooth adapter and re-installing it in Home Assistant the error message does not occur any more.
