Solved: Spotify Connect broken?
#1
Hello everyone

Had a running Spotify Connect player with moode v7 for 2 years... a few days ago the sound from Spotify went out on both players.... Since 9.0 is out fix new image according to instructions done - running, but Spotify has the same problem.... I see that the Spotify client connects and “plays” but nothing arrives at the amplifier. If I go to the Lib and play from USB or WebRadio everything works.

Have Anyone a tip where I need to turn?

regards

Check the volume on your Spotify client app
Check Moode Audio Info to see if "Output format" has something other than "Not playing"

Did it simply stop playing? When using a Spotify client, can you still see or connect to the moode device?

The reason I am asking because I just had a similar issue. If you can't confirm, I'll open my own thread.
Listening with the latest moOde on a RPI zero w with a MiniBoss DAC PCM5122 32bit 384kHz and a Volt+ AMP on a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze 100 speakers.

pi@moody:~ $ moodeutl -m

I have a similar issue, the Spotify client app on my Android phone has volume fixed at full, can't influence it, and the output volume of Moode to my DAC is very low. Screen shot of audio info attached.

Edit : stupid myself, now I saw "Volume control" in Spotify Connect Settings. with 50 as initial, it's working fine, happy camper :-)
