[IDEA] Track Replay Gain for Playlists?

A playlist is essentially the same as random play so I was hoping that somehow MPD could recognise a playlist as 'random' so that the auto replaygain setting function would use track replay gain in the same way as it does when enabling actual random play. 
I'm not sure if the thread you pointed me to will achieve that, I didn't really understand the outcome of that thread.

The MPD documents show how replaygain using Hardware_volume_control_mixer_settings work for other than the MoOde default settings.
There is a good contents page and once you read the settings for Replaygain  and have a suitable Hardware Volume Dac then reread the thread and see how it can be implemented to survive reboots.

Thought..You have tagged your library for replaygain settings ?
Otherwise there is no way MoOde or MPD can adjust any file playlist or library ;-)
