[SOLVED] Thread "Show your audio system" accidentally deleted

Hi,

Unfortunately, during admin maintenance on June 29 the thread "Show your audio system" in the General discussion sub-forum was accidentally deleted. This was the result of Operator error...

I'll try to recover the thread, posts and images from a Forum backup made on June 28 but there is no guarantee of success since my experience with such things is limited and it requires several imports and updates of certain SQL tables that makeup the Forum database.

During this process which will likely start sometime today the thread may appear but be empty or the thread may contain posts but no images. In the event the thread cannot be successfully restored, a new thread will be started.

The only other alternative to attempting a surgical restoration of thread would be a full restore of the Forum database back to the June 28th backup. IMO this is not a good option because important support and troubleshooting posts would be lost.

I was able to recover the thread and posts this morning from the June 28 Forum backup :-)

It looks good on my end but if there are any issues post them in this thread.

lol, for sure.

I think there was one post, sadly lost, after the 28'th that had a system with vintage Rogers LS-3A's shown. I hope that poster does a re-post :-)
