Dear friends, I have a rpi 4 with moode 8.3.7 and Innomaker Dac Hat Pro (ESS9038).
For fun I also tried the old Mydac 24/192 via USB and in the compatible files flac, it seems to me that it sounds better than the Innomaker Dac. I have better 3D reproduction and more detail.
The problem remains with DSD tracks: the only compatible setting is "Native DSD" with on-the-fly conversion to 32 bit PCM 192 khz.
The audio sounds is good but there remains a background creak, a bit like a turntable when the play is finished.
Is there a way to eliminate this? I would like to avoid using SoX Resampling and prioritize the Mydac conversion.
Many thanks
Dav
