My system also shows as being up-to-date when I check for updates from the System Config screen. In my case however it's clearly been doing it a while as I'm still on 6.4.2.
I have tried rebooting MoOde and my router to no avail.

The in-place updates are version specific and in some cases there is no in-place update, only a new image. Starting with the 6.6.0 release the update checker notifies for both in-place update and image-only.
The release announcements here in the Forum and in moOde Twitter feed are still your best bet at understanding what's in a specific release and whether an in-place update os offered. http://moodeaudio.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=17

6.7.0 resolved my issue of MPD edit not seeing the USB output. Now the new Audio output option just worked fine. Thank you! One possible glitch I am noticing is that when I stream Tidal music via MConnect app on iPhone, sometimes the album artwork does not seem to be loading/refreshing as songs change.

I initially reported being unable to rgenerate my llibrary under mpd 0.22 in the 6.6 support thread where the .21x worked fine. (posts #63 and #69) Today I loaded 6.7 and tried again with the same basic result -- generating the library under 0.22 would not complete. However the messaging in the MPD log was more to the point:

I traced down and deleted these .zip archives, and the library regenerated quickly and correctly (just like .21x) Everytime the 0.22 process would hit a .zip file, it would recommence the library scan anew, hence the loop.
