I note that a user on audiosciencereview find a workout to use external input (he starts camilladsp from terminal). So as far as I can understand the problem is that camilladsp as is implented on moode can't trigger motu external input, while if we run a new camilla dsp from terminal then it automatically triggers the external input of motu (that's why the status is stopped on moode). the solution: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum...st-1120268 Code:

I think @bitlab may have already provided an answer in the ASR post below, It sounds like turning on Expert mode for Camilla in the UI allows selecting the input but also results in loss of the alsa_cdsp auto-rate switching feature because alsa_cdsp is an output-only plugin.
