Issues with 9.1.2
#1
Hi there,

I have noticed the following with this upgrade:

Opening Pipeline editor works on PC, does not show on Android.  Was working on previous version.

In Pipeline editor, "Files" menu option does not show. No way to load or save config files.

In Pipeline editor, "Shortcuts" does not show the available files/shortcuts - empty screen.

Plot filter screen is now displaying properly - yaay!

Cheers,
T

Standard you can only save/load the active config (on the left side).
Only in the expert mode is the files menu available in the pipeline editor.

The camilladsp gui config was with moode never intended to be customized (is management and replacement by moode on upgrades). And when the expert mode is activate no camillagui config at all is used.

But having that said; Disable the expert mode and you can customize the camillagui config and keep a copy arround in case of upgrade the default is restored ;-)

My silly mistake! I forgot about expert mode.  Here is the process I follow which has been working well.

When editing the config:

STOP music play
Edit and save current config or save into new config
In Moode home screen: click configs button near top right of screen:
If you edited currently selected cofig, no change required - config will re-load when starting a song
If you created a new config file - select the new config.

- switching between configs dynamically while playing songs works well - greate fo comparing DSP configs

If I still have something wrong, please let us know.

As an aside, mconnect on android works well with Moode upnp for playing Tidal songs.  Ultimately it would be useful if Tidal connect could be integrated in Moode - but I think I read there are licensing issues.

Cheers,

Re: UPnP Tidal Renderer as integral part of moOde.

There used to be a Tidal plugin alongside the Qobuz plugin but Tidal changed their authentication methods, which broke the sottware package we were using (upmpdcli, maintained by Jean-Francois Dockes, and the upmpdcli tidal plugin, maintained by Giovanni Fulco).

Progress is being made to restore this functionality. Perhaps you haven't been following upmpdcli Tidal plugin. You should read my introductory post to get context but the PKCE authentication scheme I used has since begun failing. Skip to my most recent post to get a working OAUTH2 solution.

As the upmpdcli and upmpdcli plugin developers continue their work the solution may evolve yet some more. When the dust has settled, Tim can decide (in his copious free time Big Grin ) how best to integrate the renderer setup into the moOde webUI.

And, of course, Tidal can always change their technology leaving us back at the starting gate.

Regards,
Kent

PS - Incidentally, mconnect isn't the only game in town for Android users. I actually find BubbleUPnP more to my liking (but use mconnectLite, among others, on my iPad).

Thank you Kent!
I have used bubbleupnp as well which does work.

Onwards!
