[SOLVED] Library not removing deleted albums

Hi

I'm cleaning up my usb disc to remove some artists/albums and the library regen doesn't appear to be removing these fromthe album/artist views.  I've deleted tag cache, and tried mpc rescan from the command line as well but to no avail.  If I browse by folder those folders are indeed deleted.

Any ideas how to get the library to regenerate to remove content?

Does MPD log have entries indicating the tracks have been deleted/removed?
Are there any hidden dot files or dot folders?
Did you try clearing Browser cache?

cat /var/log/mpd.log

Hi Tim, thanks for the reply.

cat /var/log/mpd.log is giving me a "no such file or directory" error.

Re hidden dot files - I don't think so, but, if there are any anywhere on the disk would that cause issues?

cat /var/log/mpd/log did it. Quick search and I think the files may still be in a recycle bin on the disk and thus still getting found. Will take a look around the disk.

Ok, that was it, recycle bin on disk cleared and library has updated now.
