The magnifier glass is perfectly visible. But it is not mentioned in the help and one has to touch it to see what's behind it.
Regarding the search fields, to my taste they are too dim to be recognised immediately. Maybe because the same background as for the rest of the menu is used. And it is only displayed when tag or albums view has been selected before. So in order to use the search, one has to open the menu a second time.
Maybe a lighter background and a white border could improve the visibility (if this does not spoil the otherwise very clean design which I like very much).
