@Blobby
At a glance, I don't see anything suspicious about your log output but perhaps someone else will spot something.
I know nothing about the Allo Piano 2.1 DAC.
In a test just now with a Khadas Tone1 USB DAC hanging off a Pi4B running moOde 8.3.5, I'm listening to a track in the Spotify app on my Pixel 6A whose Bluetooth output is driving moOde's Bluetooth input. No loud static. Same while listening to SOMA FM stations in the RadioDroid app or tracks in Amazon Music in the eponymous app on my phone.
For the techies, while a track is playing I get this report from moodeutl
S32_LE because that's what the Tone1 accepts and 48000 bps because that's what Bluetooth is sending and the Tone1 accepts that too.
As an aside, Android (Developer options) reports Bluetooth is streaming to moOde using the aptX codec (yay!) at 48kHz and 24 bits/sample.
Regards,
Kent
PS - in the spirit of Paul Hogan, G-day Mate! I've spent time in 4 Australian states but I haven't made it to Western Australia yet.
