The moOde player publishes the Playlist directory as a SMB share. You can mount this share (username=pi, password=moodeaudio) in your favorite desktop, laptop, tablet, etc., and create/delete/edit playlist files. They are simply ASCII text files (LInux newline convention. ETA: but MSDOS convention doesn't seem to upset moOde.).
Have a look at the "Favorite Playlist.m3u" file to see how primitive the format is.
