I am JW from Holland. Have built a rpi 4b with I2S dac to stream music to my hifi setup.
Do a lot of diy and work already some time on Linux computers, about 2005

Have some problems to get sound out of my setup so maybe I can get some help here.

Welcome JW.... Smile

The forum has a search function so try a word or two about your Pi problems and see if they may have been solved already.
Otherwise, the main page has  'Support' where you can post some details of the symptoms.

I can use tidal via AirPlay, but refuses in upnp. I will search some things out.

Tidal seem to be in a bit of a war with UPnP for some reason. If you find a UPnP client that can do it today, chances are it will stop tomorrow. There are lots of threads about it on here but my advice is always to take the issue to Tidal and ask them to provide an open source interface that players like this can use. After all, they are taking a lot of cash from you each month, they should at least support you in listening on the device of your choice.
