Local UI Customization
#1
I'm surprised to not have found any custom UI on this forum which makes me wonder if what I'd like to do is even possible.

Before I break everything, is it possible to customize the Main Player UI and the Local Display?

Anyone care to show off your custom UI?

Why should you be surprised? You could be, but only if this was an option, and you didn't find any...

So no, moOde does not have such an option; you can only change background color / accent color and font size.
And considering the variety of mobile phones / tablets it is run on I don't see this as feasible.

BUT, moOde offers a web-API, so you can create your html page, send commands to moOde and display the returned data to your like; that is: make your own UI

So playing around with the index.php file and the css would possibly break something?
I didn't know about the web-api so i'll check that out. Thanks

There is no UI skin capability in moOde.

What do you want to change?
Post some screen shots.

I'm mostly looking to play around with the Coverview / Screensaver

This is an example of what I did with a similar feature of a desktop application. Nothing too fancy. I see all the parts needed in the Moode Audio Coverview. I'd just want to move them/resize them as needed.

Am I understanding that it would be more complex than modifying the CSS and Index.php files?

Prolly css changes for cover art and metadata but the play controls might get tricky and the volume slider would involve more than just css.
