Thats the password for the built in WiFi Access Point, not your home WiFi. Its always a good idea to have this password set in case you ever want to access moOde without a network connection.

Ah, that's actually a good tip, thanks! Did not consider such a scenario...

Yes, the popup - that's the password that confused me. All good - I understand now.

Hi everybody! Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I have the same problem this evening - cannot connect to Spotify renderer on Moode, which worked perfectly fine yesterday. I'm running fully up-to-date version and haven't changed anything on my Raspberry Pi in the meantime. I rebooted it several times (sometimes Spotify Connect stops working and reboot helps) but it still cannot connect - the icon just flashes in Spotify Desktop/Android apps. I'd appreciate any suggestions for troubleshooting, thanks!

Edit: it connected after 1 minute of attempting. However the slider in the client apps is not updated with the progress of the track. Seems like a problem on the Spotify side.

I get similar faults on occasion and find that Spotify can be shaken from it's slumber by a reboot of the control device and a restart of the Spotify renderer in moOde.  I surmise that both ends of the connection need to be "made to forget" each other.

Yes every now and then Spotify Connect becomes just dead and is fixed by rebooting. Likely unavoidable with librespot.
