Dunno what I did but all of a sudden the correct album cover is not shown anymore. In fact it is always the same cover that is shown. The songs change, but album art stays the same…
Already cleared cache...

Stil have the same problem even though I re-installed a new image.

When 4.4 first came out I did an upgrade from 4.3. I didn't have this problem. Today I re-installed moOde 4.4 starting from a compleet new image. Since then I have this problem. I wasn't aware that this could be the reason, until 15 minutes ago, when I decided to do the whole process once again. Aparently this didn't solve my problem.
So, is there anyone else who started from a complete new image and who has the same problem?

And now I really don't get it anymore…
I now re-installed 4.3 and after this was finished I upgraded to 4.4.
Now the cover art on the 7" display follows the way it should (that was not the case before) but on the HDMI output on my Chrome webbowser it doesn't update the cover art when a new song starts...

Do you have both a 7" touch and HDMI display connected to same Pi?

Oops, bad choice of words...I use the 7" display and a webbrowser on a Win10Pro PC (nothing connected to the HDMI port)...My mistake.

Update: Chrome or Firefox: same result
Update 2: webbrowser on smartphone also doesn't follow correctly. Only 7" display is correct
Update 3: safari on wife's iPad doesn't follow either...

Just to throw my 2 cents in I've never seen cover art in 4.3 or 4.4 just the moode audio player image....I'll admit much of my music has none but I know some does....

One odd thing in the log is the following old kernel version 4.14.72. The in-place upgrade installs kernel 4.14.84 and the 4.4 image includes same kernel.

The only scenario I can think of that would result in the old kernel would be if the 4.3 -> 4.4 upgrade did not complete successfully. This would show up while monitoring the upgrade via SSH.

If you like, zip up one of your albums that has cover art and email me a download link. I'll have a look to see if I can repro the "no cover art" issue.

Could this be similar to the problem that I had with FLAC files downloaded from ProStudioMasters that had embedded images that moOde couldn't find? For me, the solution was to "convert" the files to FLAC. That made the artwork visible in moOde.

Just a thought.
