Maybe Firefox dependant.

That's why I've completely given up on moOde.  How can I use it when it has that?   Big Grin
Hey that was just to improve things, why not point tiny things like that so they don't add up and make things cleaner? I know that's not enough to keep you up all night Wink

Not to worry. I thought it was a funny send-up, not of you, but of the type of troll who shows up once in a while to snipe at some aspect of moOde, declare that moOde will not succeed because Tim or the rest of us didn't jump to, and self-importantly announce they're going to deprive us of their presence...

That was exactly my intention and your summary was eloquent.  No offense was intended towards Malefoda; I appreciate people who take the time to clearly document and report flaws, even minor ones, allowing the flaws to be addressed as time permits.

Have you shown with double-blind tests that you can discern which version you are listening to?

I ask because it's all too easy to convince yourself that there is a difference when none exists.  In fact, studies have shown that someone can play the identical track, on identical equipment, twice, and the odds are good people will believe that they hear significant differences if they are told something is different.  I've done this by telling someone I was playing a FLAC file and then an MP3 file of the same track.  Despite my having played the same MP3 file for both, multiple golden-earred audiophiles told me that the FLAC version sounded much better.  One even went so far as to tell me that I needed to get my hearing checked if I couldn't hear the difference.   Rolleyes

You think you can trust your ears?  Then watch this video and tell me how you did:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-lN8vWm3m0

Thanks. I was see and hear this document, but i think that problem that i was writing - not coreesponding with this material

I referred you to that video because it very much relates to what you are saying -- it demonstrates how you can be completely sure you are hearing something and be completely wrong.

And, as I explained in the text, studies have shown that people tend to hear differences when they expect to (expectation bias), even when no difference exists.  Read this:
http://nwavguy.blogspot.com/2012/04/what-we-hear.html

If you can't trust your eyes to tell you that these two black lines are the same length, how can you trust your ears to tell you whether moOde 6.x sounds the same as moOde 5.x without doing a blind test?

Unfortunately, humor is a fragile item not easily conveyed over the Internet.

+1 (I cannot have enough of those pompous quitters and their 'adieu' messages Heart )

@Malefoda's findings (alongside other MoOde users' findings/suggestions) are geared up towards the fine tuning of a great music player IMHO...

Hello,
I've got the 5.3.1 version.
The configuration menu says there is no new version available.
How can I upgrade ?
I use the command "sudo apt update / sudo apt-upgrade / sudo apt-full-upgrade" but it only upgrades debian.
Is there a way to upgrade Moode (new radios, new interface, etc.) ?

Regards
